Press

Manifest is pleased to offer press passes to qualified members of the media covering the festival. A press pass not only gives you access to the whole festival and preferred seating in the main events room, but you additionally have the opportunity to access certain areas normally off-limits to the general audience.

Applications

The press application deadline is : Sunday 31st of July

Only applications from professional media will be considered at Manifest. During Manifest please speak to our press liasion as they can give you more up-to-date information. Their email is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Application Procedure

If you are interested in attending our event as a member of the press, you must e-mail about attending Manifest. In this e-mail you will need to include the following:

• Organization / Publication Name
• Name of the primary contact person our press staff will be dealing with
• E-mail address
• Mobile number that you will be using at Manifest (if applicable)
• Names of the others in your organization who plan to attend Manifest as press, as well as their e-mail address(es)
• Website address (if applicable)
• Information of which day you would be coming to Manifest.

After your e-mail has been received and your information has been reviewed, you will receive:

• Information about Manifest
• Details on who to contact on the day

You must also present a photo ID to obtain your press pass at the convention along with the confirmation e-mail. Press passes will not be mailed.

You do not qualify for a press pass if you are:

• a sales representative

You maybe refused if you are the following:

• A freelance photographer
• Creating a student documentary

After the convention, we would appreciate a courtesy copy of your coverage for our records.

• Please note that we can't guarantee approval for requested interviews. Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Broadcast Media & Student Documentaries

If you are a broadcast journalist or photographer, please include a letter from a producer/editor on company letterhead stating that you are covering Manifest on assignment.
