Peppa-chan is lonely and looking for some company to share the fun with! As stated at Manifest 2011's closing ceremony, we are still seeking design entries for a new mascot for 2012! We are looking for preferably a young male character that will really compliment Peppa, though all entries will be considered. ... We also request that all entries be converted to .jpg, .gif, .png or .pdf formats before submitting. Along with your design that should be drawn as a character sheet, a brief intro & personality description would also be ideal. The winning designer will receive free entry into Manifest 2012! The first two runners-up will be rewarded with something special as well. ;) All entries are to be emailed to promotions@manifest.org.au So spread the word and get in fast, deadline is 22nd Feb. 2012! LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE GOT! GOOD LUCK :D **GENERAL RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS** *For obivious reasons, all designs entered must not contain nudity or any adult themes, coarse language, racism, crass humour etc. *The chosen design will become property of MAFI; therefore the design can and will be altered by the contracted artist for various reasons, among those being themed events. Original character design will always be credited to the winning designer. *Any further questions, don't hesitate to ask us! E-mail any questions to promotions@manifest.org.au, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Date and Time: Saturday, April 30 · 1:00pm - 4:00pm Location: 10a Atherton Road, Oakleigh and nearby park
Back by popular demand, Head on down to the Mani Region for this years big poke-meet
Same location as last year! Although Meet up at Flinders Street Station at 12 and at 12.30pm head down on the Cranbourne/Pakenham line. For those that didn't attend last year, it's only a short walk from Oakleigh Station and it will be at the Manifest office and nearby park
Map of where we will be: (Starting at Oakleigh train station) http://tiny.cc/yyeen (A is train station, B is where we will be meeting up and C is the office which we will head to later)
What's on you ask?
Well Pokecentre and Pokemart This will be inside the office, we will be selling Pocky and can's of drink (possibly Ramune if we have it back in stock) As for the Centre side of thing, well it's just the name of it at this point:P
Battle Arena As per last year, at the park area we will set up a battle field for photo-ops and mock battles made out of the usual pieces used for cosplay chess at Manifest
Pokemon League This year we've added a difficulty curve as last years leaders we're a little too "unbeatable". So there will be Easy, Medium and Hard Gym Leaders for the challenge!
They will be scattered around the park and possibly the office for challenging, and if you win each Leader will have their own Gym badge you can choose to purchase if you like for $1.
Otherwise they'll simply mark your trainers card as proof of the win!
We will also have a trainers guide which will most likely be $1 (stay tuned for updates on this) with all the gym leaders info, who they are, how to recognise them and some of there main Pokemon.

We all know and love SupaNova. It's like Manifest's Dr.Who & wrestling obsessed cousin. And much like Manifest, it requires a small army of people to help actually run it.
Whilst being a volunteer for SupaNova is not as awesomely sweet as being one for Manifest, with great responsibility comes great potential chances to actually not just meet some celebrities but potentially be their wranglers!
If you would like to volunteer for them on the 8th April - 10th April 2011, you'll get:
- Free souvenir t-shirt commemorating the event (conveniently doubles as a uniform!)
- Free Madman lanyard and ID badge
- Free event entry
- Free Lunch on all days of the event (and free dinner as well if you give us a hand on Friday afternoon/evening)
We expect every volunteer to be the best volunteer just like you were for us last year at Manifest 2010.
Signup at https://volunteers.supanova.com.au/
Manifest is an anime convention run by fans for fans… and by fans we mean you! Manifest is founded and run by a dedicated team of people; and we could sure use the extra hands!
See Manifest from an entirely new perspective, where you will meet like-minded people who share your interests. Don’t simply watch your favourite event, become a part of it! Almost every part of Manifest needs a volunteer or two, so there are plenty of areas to choose from.
So if you wish to volunteer please click on the link below or go down to the volunteers section of the website.
