Driving
Parking is available at the Showgrounds for $5 per car per day. Drivers are advise to enter though Gate 1 on Epsom Road. This is also the most suitable location for dropping attendees off. To get a passout, please ask the guard at the exit station for the pass.
N.B: DO NOT drop people off along Epsom Road. Impeding traffic is not only illegal, injury may occur.
Public Transport
The best way to get to Manifest is by public transport!
Trams & Lightrail


Yarra Trams route 57 (West Maribyrnong) leaves from the Elizabeth street and Flinders Street intersection and runs past the main Showgrounds entrance along Epsom Road.
Tram 57 connects with trains at the following four stations:
- Melbourne Central Station
- Flinders Street Station
- Flemington Bridge Station (Upfield Train line)
- Newmarket Station (Craigieburn line).
We advise you to catch the tram from Flinders Street & Elizabeth Street Terminus to ensure that you are able to get on a tram.
Travel time is approximately 20-30 minutes to reach the Showgrounds by Tram from Flinders Street and roughly 5-7 minutes from Newmarket Station. Trams run every 8-10 minutes during peak times. Check here for timetables.
The Melbourne Showgrounds tram stop is #33, two (2) stops after Flemington Racecourse (stop #29). The tram turns onto Racecourse/Epsom Road from Flemington Road. Right after this turn is the Racecourse (stop 29).
The tram continues down Epsom Road to the Sandown Road intersection. Stop #32 is here, outside the new shopping center.
Melbourne Showgrounds (stop #33) is the following stop.
Railway & Train Transport
Thanks to the wonderful people at the Department of Transport and Metro, trains will be running all three days of Manifest!
Departing from Flinders.st Station, going via Southern Cross & North Melbourne, then to Showgrounds station and returning by the same route.
Trains services begin at 9:40am and finish at 6:20pm, with trains running approximately every 20 minutes on Saturday & Sunday, and every 40 minutes on Friday.
