Manifest is pleased to announce our preferred accommodation suppliers for 2010, Rydges North Melbourne and Urban Central.
Rydges North Melbourne, a 4 star hotel, is located at the corner of Harker Street and Flemington Road in North Melbourne. All the standard hotel amenities are available. To view the special rates and book a room, visit the Rydges site at http://www.rydges.com/cwp/manifest. There are only a limited number of rooms available at the Manifest rate, so be sure to book before they are all gone.
The special rates are available from Wednesday August 18 through Monday August 23. The manifest rates are valid for booking until July 22. If you need to book 5 or more rooms, you will need to call the hotel directly as there are additional requirements.

Rydges North Melbourne is a short walk from the 57 tram line and is roughly a 10-15 minute drive or tram ride away from Melbourne Showgrounds.
For those after a budget option, Urban Central is once again offering 5% off their normal rates for Manifest attendees, including free continental breakfast. There is limited car parking on site. The hostel is located at 334 City Road in Southbank, a short walk from Spencer Street and Finders Street stations.
In order to receive the discount, you need to mention you are coming for Manifest when you book so that the hostel can record the discount against your reservation. The discount can be applied up until check in. Once checked in, you will not be able to change the rate.

The best way to get to the Melbourne Showgrounds from Urban Central is to hop on the 112 tram at the City Road/ Clarendon Street intersection and change to the 57 tram at Elizabeth Street. It will take roughly 30 minutes to reach the Melbourne Showgrounds by tram.
