For cultural demonstrations, video games, panels, screenings, and guest signings we will contact you closer to the event to verify what specific event you wish to attend. Terms & Conditions of Manifest Volunteering



Manifest Volunteers Must:
  • Treat everyone with respect, courtesy, and without harassment.
  • Comply with all applicable Australian laws including occupational health and safety and antidiscrimination legislation.
  • Not waste or misuse Manifest resources, nor use their position as a Manifest volunteer for any sort of private benefit.
  • Comply with any lawful and reasonable directions given by a Manifest Staff member(s) who has the authority to give such direction.
  • Attend at least one training session and at least one team building session before manifest. If you are an interstate volunteer you need to be avaliable on the thursday afternoon for a training session.
  • Not disclose matters revealed to them in confidence.
  • Not announce anything in the name of Manifest, unless instructed to do so by a Manifest Staff member.
  • Act with due care and diligence, behaving honestly, reliably at all times in a way that upholds the values, integrity, and reputation of Manifest.
  • You will pre-purchase your ticket for Manifest 2013.
  • You are at least the age of 15 years old on 16th August 2013. For those under this age I am sorry but we can not have you volunteering this year.
  • To complete the RASV OH&S Induction, this will be checked at the training sessions as well as each day of volunteering to ensure you have it on you each day of working at the showgrounds. The link is http://melbourneshowgrounds.induction.integralcs.com/index.php
  • By agreeing to these terms & conditions you will also be made an associate member of Melbourne Anime Festival Inc. This does not mean you are joining MOC or any other group of the association.

Declaration

  • I agree to be bound by the Manifest Volunteer Code of Conduct and the Manifest Terms & Conditions of Sale & Entry
  • I agree that any participation in Manifest creates an obligation to carry out tasks at the direction of staff and supervisors to the standards of Manifest.
  • If I become unable to perform any previously rostered duty, I will notify the Manifest Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible.
  • I have declared all conditions that might impede my ability to carry out my duties as a Manifest Volunteer.
  • I understand that I am not an employee of Manifest, that either party can terminate this agreement at will and that upon such termination all rights and obligations as a volunteer will cease.
