Piano Stories IV

Manifest has had a tradition of bring the musical aspects of anime to life, and this year is no different. This year sees Manifest taking a more classical approach to the music that you know and love.

Eminence, in conjunction with Manifest, proudly presents Piano Stories IV, featuring a wide range of music from Final Fantasy (R), as well as other game titles such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Tetris & Xenogears. The concert will also present music from Japanese animation titles including Noir, My Neighbour Totoro, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Azumanga Daioh, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist as well as Gundam Seed Destiny.

The latest of Eminence's concerts in Melbourne, the latest instalment of their piano series will inject something fresh to the style with the addition of several different video game titles and a number of different styles from anime than previous concerts, will provide our audiences with a different approach to the piano. The concert will be performed by the award winning Krzyzstof Malek. The Polish born pianist has had the honour of winning the Bacewitz International Piano Competition and has been runner up at the Chopin International Piano Competition.

Eminence has also announced that a mysterious artist will join Krzyzstof. While the artist goes unnamed, we have been told she will add her talents with the violin to the performance, adding her graceful and brilliant style to an already featured performance.

Manifest is proud then to present the Melbourne concert as an official Manifest event, and will take place on the Saturday of Manifest, with sessions at 5:30pm and 8:00pm. Please note that entry to the concert does not require attendance at Manifest, so feel free to invite your friends that may not have come with you.

Tickets are required for entry. They can be purchased from the Eminence merchandise table in Wilson Hall, or before the event at selected Gametraders’ stores. Seats are limited, so get in quick!
