Manifest 2007 Mascot Competition

PLEASE NOTE: This competition is open internationally.

The chase is on for the image that will represent Manifest 2007. We're looking for Peppa-chan images for Manifest 2007! Below are the requirements for this competition.

1. Artist Requirements

Every year we have used Peppa-chan artwork for a variety of things; publicity items, signage, website, forums, programme book artwork and so on and so forth. Each year we have a new artist win the exciting opportunity to have their interpretation of our loveable mascot be the one to show up in these and more areas in relation to our competition.

Our primary requirements are that you must be willing to work with 2007's Manifest Organising Committee (MOC) to discuss MOC's ideas and are able to draw our mascot Peppa-chan in a variety of poses, as requested. This will include line-art, full colour artwork, and artwork of large sizes to be used in prints of up to A2 size.

Because of the varying requirements on the artist, at the close of Manifest 2007, MOC will decide on additional prizes of varying magnitude to award the winning artist for their tireless efforts throughout the year.

2. Submissions

We're looking for viewable sized images (quantity of images/poses is up to you) of Peppa-chan in a variety of poses, sizes, costumes, etc. (in every variety you can think of). These are for submission purposes.

3. Peppa-chan Specifications

We know you've seen Peppa-chan so here's your chance to draw your own take on her. There are a few essentials; everything else though, is open to your interpretation.

Peppa-chan's Essentials:
- Hair colour (Pinkish red)
- Eye Colour (green)
- Rosy cheeks
- Cat ears hat (unless it's a Cosplay Situation)
- Visible logo on cloths
- Expressive

You can read the information on Peppa-chan here.

4. Prize

Prizes for the winner are as follows;

- An original pressing anime music CD (please be patient because we have to order these)
- Two weekend passes to Manifest 2007 (or if you won’t be attending, a store/e-store gift voucher of equivalent value.)
- One 2007 Manifest T-Shirt, to your choosing (of colour, design, and size – subject to availability.)

Upon the closure of Manifest 2007 MOC will decide on extra prizes of varying magnitude to thank the winning artist for their work throughout the year towards Manifest 2007. These additional prizes may consist of things such as;

Gift vouchers to art supply stores, anime DVDs, Manga, OST CDs, Manifest merchandising items, and other variations of goodies.

The winners name will also be placed in the Program Book (2007) unless the artist requests otherwise.

This competition is open internationally, although artists must be aware you are expected to be reasonably accessible to discuss things with MOC.
