Venue
Manifest 2006 will be held at the University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus, 15 minutes walking distance from the CBD of Melbourne, Australia (Melway Ref: Map 43-G4).
Maps of the university can be found below and we will occupy the following buildings:
Wilson's Hall
Old Arts Building
Economics and Commerce Building
The closest train station to the University of Melbourne is Melbourne Central, though you can also stop at
Flinders Street and not be that much farther. Connex Melbourne's website offers a very good timetable of the
trains around the city. Trams offer the most convenient way of getting to and from the university and operate at
regular and thinly spaced intervals. Just get on board the trams saying "University" or "Melbourne Uni" on their
destination sign and you're bound to stumble onto us (or alternatively check out VicTrip for the tram timetables).
There are parking areas both around the university streets and within the university itself.
The price of parking inside the university is $4 which let's you in there for 24 hours.
Usually, you'll have to pay machines to get in (sometimes there are security personnel) but whether or not there
actually is any parking left inside of the university, it'll take your money nonetheless.
Street parking has different rates and times so please check them as you see them.
There's also the alternative of parking on paid garages but we have yet to confirm the price of entry for these.
Check the map below for locations.

Melbourne University has been home to Manifest since its creation and both Manifest organisers and the attendees have become
quite attached to the well tended grounds and buildings, boasting some marvelous sceneries that in the past have been loved
by cosplayers wanting to get that awesome shot of their costumes. It's very accessible via public transport and it's not hard
at all to find the buildings where Manifest is held. Just follow the cosplayers!
With Manifest being in the 4th weekend of September, the fans will once more have some great facilities made available
to them to enjoy all things anime.
