The purpose of MANIFEST is to bring new Anime material to people in a theatre setting, something that is rarely done in Australia except at major and minor film festivals.

MANIFEST is not a profit-making body and aim to provide the melting pot for anime fans to meet and mingle with like-minded people in Melbourne and around Australia, and provide Australian anime fans with the experience of going to an anime convention.
